The Northtown Housing Development Corporation will provide quality affordable housing to revitalize the Northtown community and to promote economic development.
 
Staff Members
REBECA DENNIS
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ms. Rebeca Dennis joined NHDC in February of 2010. She has more than 20 years of experience developing affordable housing in Southern California. She holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from UC- Berkeley, and has taught college courses in architecture and construction management. Her current and former affiliations include associations of Latinas, builders and architects, in addition to serving as member of several boards and committees on affordable housing, at the school district, and at her parish. Besides her proven track record in affordable housing, Ms. Dennis comes to NHDC with a strong commitment and passion to serving and improving our communities.
 
SERGIO BARRIENTOS
aSSET mANAGER

Sergio Barrientos is the Asset Manager for NHDC. Sergio joined Northtown Housing with 14 years of affordable housing experience. He is a certified HUD Occupancy Specialist, Tax Credit Program Compliance Professional, as well as, certified in the USDA Rural Development multi-family housing program.

He has several years of experience working with the elderly, mentally ill, developmentally disabled and other special needs populations. He has served on the Editorial Board of the Desert Sun, as Deputy Director for the National Hispanic Council on Aging, Assistant Planner for the County of Riverside Office on Aging and other committees at the local, state and federal levels.

MARY ROCHA
COMMUNITY CENTER SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECTOR

Ms. Rocha joined the NHDC Staff in 2001 and has been instrumental in implementing and overseeing all social service, recreational, and cultural programs at the Northtown Community Center and Olen Jones Senior Apartment Community. Aided by her part time staff, Ms. Rocha networks and partners with many outside agencies, cities, counties and the state to improve and enhance services for the Northtown Community.

 
SALLY HERNANDEZ
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Ms. Hernandez joined the NHDC staff in 2004. She previously worked in private industry, managing a small office. Ms. Hernandez brings not only her management and organizational skills to the office but her congenial outreach abilities.
 
HILDA IRISH
SOCIAL SERVICE COORDINATOR
As a Social Service Coordinator, she is responsible for the development and provision of the services consistent with contemporary social work standards. Her services are vital to delivering the elderly at the Olen Jones Apartment community quality social services.
