Nacho Gracia became NHDC’s first Executive Director in 1996, and served in this capacity for 15 years.  Mr. Gracia briefly left NHDC in 2008, returning in April, 2009 to serve as the Corporation’s Chief Administrative Officer.  In his two positions with NHDC, Mr. Gracia has overseen all of the Corporation’s affordable housing and social service activities, growing the Corporation from a start-up to an accomplished affordable housing developer with a significant financial balance sheet and net worth.

Karen Cannon joined the staff in 2008 assuming the role as Asset Manager. Karen oversees the financial statements and reports of all of NHDC's projects. She is involved in NHDC's corporate fiscal planning and oversees the corporation's tax audits and partnership tax audits and reports. She also maintains investor relations, including relations with NHDC's bank and equity investors. As Asset Manager for NHDC, Karen has been involved in the construction draw process for NHDC's new construction project San Sevaine. Karen Previously worked in a private financial industry for over 10 years.

Ms. Hernandez joined the NHDC staff in 2004, assuming many of Ms. Ramirez's operational responsibilities. She previously worked in private industry, managing a small office. Ms. Hernandez brings not only her management skills to the office but her congenial outreach abilities.
